Sepia Silhouette [2']
piano solo
Written in 1967, Sepia Silhouette is one of the earliest of Joelle Wallach’s piano preludes comprising “Through the Oval Window,” a collection of brief, evocative works for piano solo composed over a 50+ year period. Sepia Silhouette was composed in strict 12-tone technique yet sounds like a gentle impressionist lullaby.
